Jack Bendig is an Environmental Science major with a Geo-Bio concentration. He is originally from Colorado Springs, where he grew up playing in the woods and prairies. He moved to D.C. when he was 12 but kept his love of the outdoors and the environment. Some of his hobbies include Lego building, hiking, working out, and learning about different animals.
Angelique Burns is a commuting non-traditional student from Warren PA, majoring in Creative Writing with a minor in Political Science. She enjoys writing both non-fiction and fiction with a focus on fantasy. Daisy Cheshire is an environmental science and environmental studies major. She has three minors: Spanish, philosophy, and geology. She is originally from Sumter South Carolina but moved to Pittsburgh when she was 14. She enjoys spending time in nature and knitting in her free time. Maddie Cincala is heavily inspired by the works of Junji Ito’s unconventional horror Mangas and Stephen King’s knack for psychological horror. She is a recent graduate from Pitt Bradford with a degree in biology. She is currently working for UPMC as a lab assistant and often works in the sciences with the arts in her work. Sydney Fowler is from Rural Valley, PA. She is a student at UPB majoring in Interdisciplinary Art, concentrating in Graphic Design and Writing, and minoring in Software Development. Bonnie McMillen is a Bradford native, raised on Campus Drive, a lover of the outdoors, education, books, music and writing short stories and poetry. She is a graduate of Alfred University, graduating with a B S N and worked as an R. N. for 36 years. She retired from Pitt-Bradford in 2017 after twenty years as Director of Student Health Services. Nehal Palan is an interdisciplinary arts major with concentrations in writing and graphic design and a minor in psychology from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She’s the Vice President of Student Government Association, the Vice President of Promotions for Student Activities Council, a member of Pride Inclusivity Network, a member of Blue and Gold Society, a sister of Lambda Xi, a Mail Center Clerk, and a Student Ambassador. Heather Ritts is the Mail Center Supervisor at UPB with a B.S. Biology from Clarion University. She is currently pursuing MLIS degree with the University of Pittsburgh. She was introduced to writing as a form of therapy. This is her first time sharing outside of a clinical setting. She hopes her submission of “Death’s Hand” will let others who are struggling with mental health issues know that they are not alone.

Dr. Nancy McCabe directs the creative and professional writing program at Pitt-Bradford and has advised Baily’s Beads for 20 years.
